Planted about 340 fava beans on Monday. Hard work , but got 6 rows in. So thankful to even get this many planted...need about a thousand more! God is so good! For a while , I didn't think I would get them in before rain...sprinkled on me lightly all morning and then cleared off.

Quick report on Turpentine experiment from Bean Acres... bowels moved finally this morning and I have taken a mixture of 1/2 teas Diamond G Forest 100% pure turpentine mixed with 1+ teas castor oil (internal type) 1 teas honey and a 4th teas turbinado sugar...it was harder to mix in this combination (oil kept separating out) Chased it with good amount of water and will take chlorella tablets in 1/2 an hour. I have been feeling very well. Will report on how the experiment goes . I am still not up to the recommended dose of 3/4 teas. adult dose yet , but am taking a child's dose recommended for autism ...only once a week instead of twice. So far feeling comfortable at that dose for now. If my bowels would move better, will take it two times a week though.
* Hope to be able to have a spot ready to plant more fava beans on Monday. Have a blessed day ya'll. With love, Aunt Bean |

Now have over 2,000 favas in the ground...and it is raining. God is good. I have help on the farm now...Aunt Bean has fallen in love after 33 years.....engaged and planning to marry soon to an old Navy man that I have known for 7 years. We sing, play music and dance together and now garden together too. It is like I am walking thru a dream, hoping I don't suddenly wake up and find it was just my imagination. He even helped me start a new support group. Just wanted my extended family here to know and rejoice with me. Love to all my brothers and sisters with PD

I think this is wonderfull and only wish it had happened to me as well. You seem to have found happiness and so you grab it with both hands [even if calloused]. You deserve it and he seems like a very nice guy,
I am it seems somehow smiling today ............Best of the best for you both. Deep respect Thelma |

Have now set the wedding date for the 24th (Arbor Day) An appropriate time for an old kayaker/ tree hugger/ hiker . Can't believe it is not a dream, but hope I never wake up. Pray for us as we take on a new life together soon . First Favas are up and looking pretty. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, egg plant , etc are now sown in flats in the greenhouse. Life is good. Chickens are giving us about 8 or 9 eggs a day. Had a good rain God is so Good. Blessings, Aunt Bean

Fava Bean plants are doing well. Went to Rock Steady Boxing camp in Indianapolis. They are so amazing there.. I thought that I was in pretty good shape....but I am a wimp compared to people years older than me that have been working out there 3 times a week. I recommend finding a program in your area...if there is no one, speak with your local support group and contact local wellness centers to see if they could send someone for training there and institute a program for you. Got married April 21st and am so very happy. Unbelievable to me at my age that God would bless me with someone who wants to help even with the research. farming aspects, and to sing and play music with too. He even fixed a banjo for me to learn on . HOW FUN! God is so good. Love and Peace and Joy reign here. A Blessed day to you all Aunt Bean

Favas look beautiful. Transplanting beets and onions today and starting. pumpkins, cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe , squashes, okra in greenhouse pots, because we always have blackberry winter here in TN and I don't plant these things and tomatoes and peppers (plants that are already started) outside til after the last cold spell. Have a blessed day you all. Anyone planning to go to the next World Congress?

Have harvested my second picking of tops and have them dried and in Brandy to extract the L-dopa for the tincture that I carry in my pocket for when my dopamine level gets low. Just wanted to tell you that Glen Pettibone and I are supposed to do the Sunday Connections call in show for Robert Rodgers on Sunday ...so if anyone wants to ask questions about the natural things we do...that would be a good time(2:00 California area time / 5 PM for our TN side of this big country) Could probably Google Parkinsons Recovery for more info . For a list of dial in numbers go to:

Planting at Bean Acres coming along...now have all the corn, pumpkins, acorn squash, butternut, spaghetti squash, yellow squash and zuchini , cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, turkey craw beans, irish potatoes in the ground. One type of tomato is now planted. Favas are doing very well and I am ready to transplant egg plants and peppers into larger pots to grow roots for a couple of weeks before planting. The sweet potato slips will be ready to plant next Saturday...hopefully the beds for them will be ready by then. Will be able to start using some beet greens this next week. My wonderful husband bought a few more hoses and we can water the upper lower and above the chicken gardens without hauling gallon jugs now....a real time saver. Plus, 2 huge rolls of black plastic to cut down on weeds in the pumpkin/watermelon/ squash plants areas. By next year, I may even be organized! May even try to plan a fava festival again next June for those who want to visit the farm and find out how to do their own natural L-dopa. God is good. Have a blessed day. Eat good organically grown foods...grow your own if possible...it is good exercise and the sunshine will do you a world of good too. Blessings.
