Jaye, how does someone register to enter the chat room?

just click on the link. You're there. It knows your username and ID from BT1. If it forgot your computer or you're on someone else's, it might ask you to sign in. Pamster has written a great tutorial, cited above. Glance at that first if you need a boost.

cant get into chat.. do not have permission. guess i will just have to get over it.

As Harley proably noted, I first logged into BT to post this reply. I then clicked on your link above, entered the same U/P that I used here in BT and was told..."Incorrect Username or Password. Please try again."

I did consider upper/lower case when typing the U/P.

Help again!!

I am also told that I have an invalid name & password. Help will be greatly appreciated.

Carolyn, you refer to "here in BT," while my suggestion distinguishes between BT1 (the one that crashed) and BT2 (this one, which says "Brain Talk 2 Communities - Reply to Topic" at the top of the page.

If following that distinction carefully doesn't help, I suggest a Forum Jump (near the bottom of the page) to the Computers and Technology Forum, where the techs can answer your questions. I was just telling you what works for most people and for me. My second post on this thread contained all my knowledge of the subject.

Used the "1" sign in and got there just fine.
