Thumbs Up Book writing - need your input!

Hi, forum members! As part of the NeuroTalk Writers Team, I am posting this for pkell. PLEASE consider submitting something. *

As many, but perhaps not all, of you know several of our group here at NT have joined together to write a book about Parkinson's Disease from the viewpoint of those of us who have it. This is not a text book or a scientific treatise, but rather an "up close and personal" book about what we have learned from each other about how to live with this condition. While we are including information regarding the diagnosis and treatment of PD, our emphasis has been on the personal journey we are all on and how our internet community has influenced the course of that journey.

On behalf of the Book Team, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all your well wishes and encouragement. I would also like to report that we are making steady progress and our best estimate is that we are, at present approximately half-way through the project.

For all of us participating it has truly been a labor of love and because of that, we would like to extend to each of you an invitation to submit a contribution to the book. It can be about something you feel you have extensive or particular experience with or about something which causes your passions to rise, your heart to break, or your hopes to soar.

Generally, submissions should be under one thousand words; however, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. Speaking for myself, this has been a transforming experience, one I would love to share with each of you.

If you would like to submit something please PM me and we will make arrangements.

Again, thank you for your support and well wishes.

Pam - user name pkell for pm’S (Private Messages)

*Note: Not every submission can become a part of the book, and please be apprised that with any submission, you are granting the team permission to edit at will.

THANKS SO MUCH!
Peg
