Are there any natural remedies that you have found that help with any of the symptoms of parkinson's, motor or non motor

i get a little noticeable boost from ginseng. i also take curcumin, vit--e, vit-d, multi-vit, citrus bioflavanoids, curcumin, green tea extract, blueberry concentrate, ginger, red yeast rice extract, lutein. and just keep getting worse.

but what seems to have the most noticeable benefit besides my sinemet is 200mg ibuprofen for pain relief. take every other day, why? just afraid of liver damage.

exercise and a good sleep best natural treatments for me.
isn't sinemet almost "natural" l-dopa occurs naturally.

Lindy-

The one that helps me the most with symptoms is the carnitine-lipoic combo advocated by Dr. Bruce Ames of Stanford. He claims it boosts failing mitochondria. I can tell a definite difference within 48 hours.

Mucuna, of course.

Vit D if you are low.

And the self hypnosis does seem to have reduced my dk although I'm still observing.

Default fava JUICE

hi Lindy.

Why limit yourself to healing motor sx?? Of course thats the sx that lays our soul bare so my question may seem ...well...off topic - but.

Yesterday I listened to a story of a woman who was "cured" of breast cancer but then had to pursue help for the radiation damage from her cancer treatment!

The fava juice from the international gourmet website has helped me; so far it extends the sinemet dose by approx three hours.

kind regards,
MD

We have juiced fava beans and made a "potato chip type product " They work well to help with symptoms and keep us going. It takes away the indigestible fiber and leaves the dopamine we need

Dear Aunt Bean,

HI! I have been so interested and inspired by your fava farm endeavors! I'm hoping the positive effect I'm feeling from the fava juice (now my favaorite juice ) continues - I thought that heating the fava decreases its potency...do you dry your "potato chips"?

I'm getting lumber tomorrow to build a planter box for favas to plant next spring! How do you make your tincture? Ohh I have many questions!

THANK YOU Aunt Bean!!!

Foot massage. Had a childhood foot injury. Had therapy on it. Felt a change in the nerves / circulation / energy flow. Posture was better. Heart / chest area expanded. Hand Tremor worse for awhile then stopped.

Apparently Ive been operating on adrenaline for so long i didnt use dopamine much and production dropped off something terrible. Dopamine producing cells went into dormancy. Now Im trying to chill more, be cooler with whats shaking
