I always think of bilateral stimulation when I bike or walk. I remember reading about athletes with severe injuries who underwent physical therapy including relearning to crawl and other exercises which involved both sides of the body and brain. EMDR, a psychological treatment for trauma, has at it's core the idea of healing through stimulation of both hemispheres of the brain by bilateral stimulation of various types.
Makes sense to me.

The trip to Ohio and Michigan was super. Over 120 people came to the talks in Grand Haven and the YMCAs and care centers in all the places I visited are excited about starting the Pedaling for Parkinson's program. It was great to meet people I've only "spoken" with on the computer.
