Default i guess I am old school..........

I always assumed "thank you" meant well....."thank you"!!!

We had to vote on this?? It was the best kept secret I have ever encountered!! Write-ins where allowed? My vote would have been for "up ya nose wid a rubber hose!"
That would have been my "Disagree" or my "no thanks".

lets all say "thank you" when we feel like saying it. Perhaps a little disclaimer is in order??

"my thank you does not constitute an agreement or disagreement with your post. It means "thank you" for the insightful post." ad nauseum......

Charlie

The voting/discussion part on CFF was because the default setting for "thanks" included a running tally of all the thanks a member received listed near the avatar/location. The score card/tally effect- so to speak.

Basically it was decided to keep the thanks button but disable the visible tally.

It is much simpler for members that have limitations of movement or typing to click a button if they just want to say a thank you.
