Default Lithium again

I was going to post this to Laura's thread but can't find it, so starting another...

Here is a bit more in-depth info. on the lithium PD-mouse trial out of Buck Institute. Apparently high doses of lithium can actually cause PD, so they are trying to work on the dose as they proceed to phase IIA in humans. Seems like several PWP have been taking lithium for years before this headline came out this week and it sure would be great if they would come forward and share their experience, whether they think it helped, how, etc.

I liked the comment made in the article about lithium being used in combination with stem cells for those PWP who are quite advanced. We have talked about blends of different therapies for awhile now on this board and I am so glad to see someone in the research field actually address that publicly and directly. Here's the link:
