Default Unrelated surgery effect on PD symptoms

I'm tentatively planning full knee replacement surgery in the spring. I recently went through a bout of ulcerative coilis and noticed my parkinson symptoms had worsened more quickly. Can/Does unrelated surgery have an effect of progression of Parkinson symptoms. Or, in general, is there a corelation betwen other major stresses to the body and Parkinson symptoms
