Default Shameless Vanity Post

Heeseung Ko came out to my farmhouse and did this interview with me. I talked too fast and looked quite looney, but it's a shameless vanity post nonetheless. Me, though, I would like to see videos from a lot of you, just to put a person and a face and a voice together to understand better than just our typewritten words.

Rick
I still have your dance video (it was the first one) on the first page of my Blog - it was because of your video contradicting the professor that I started the Blog !
people keep thinking it is me dancing so I always tell them it is you, which confuses them even more
Rick is the originator of the PD dance video

Heart i love this!

"We are going to beat this disease, you understand that? We are learning about the brain; we're learning what's going on. We will abolish this disease from the face of the earth. Not this week, not in five years, maybe i'd say within 30 years. Maybe too late for us, but Parkinson's disease is going down. It's going to be defeated. It is the next major disease we will eliminate from the face of the earth."

When you say it, Bob, I believe it. Now how do I get on your dance card?

Thanks Bob, I too loved this, I love how you tell us where to go in our heads, like meditation but more primitive, and how you lift our spirits with some hope for the future. Keep on coming with this stuff, it will help us all.......

Go for it Paula! Aqua Zumba is turning into some sort of world-wide tribe that will take over from the over-civilized land-lubbers. We are leaving land and returning to the oceans.
I like their slogan:
"Signing our names for those who can't!"
That's attitude.

Here is Bandido’s video, the first rap music – PD cross-over hit; and the first spit video anywhere:

Default Kate Gendreau

And there is Kate Gendreau. I did not get a video of her but there will be many of those in the future, because she is on a clear and defined path to becoming a leader in working for People With Parkinson's. She has guided me through many of those bad days when it seems hard to keep on going, and given me advice based on her staggering knowledge of PD, the drugs, the effects and the emotions.
In one of her secret lives, she sings, plays instruments and records; in another one of her secret lives, she is a photographer seeing with new eyes, seeing the world from the perspective of 11 years of having PD, starting at the age of 36.
Angel. Hero.
