Default Methylene Blue

In searching for a different subject I came across this study from 2008.

POTENTIAL ALZHEIMER'S, PARKINSON'S CURE FOUND IN CENTURY OLD DRUG

So I searched this forum site for further information. Lo and behold, many of you had heard or referenced the study.
Does anyone know if there has been further work/research/trials done on this substance?
Has it just fallen into a black hole?

Default good news

Thank you all for your information and knowledge, this is good news.
I hope the attempt at patenting doesn't interfere too much with the research.
I had looked briefly at Commonwealth Medical College because of a previous post about MB but hadn't found Dr. Atamna.
I also searched Dr. Ames and found an interesting list of areas of interest which include many supplements we discuss here.

I'm happy to know this possibility is still being explored but really... 4-5 YEARS !!! since the previous study came out!

From what I read it appears that at least a part of what is working in Methylene Blue (MB) is an inhibition of MAOs so that encourages me to continue taking deprenyl (Selegeline), an MAO- inhibitor for the present.

Default Methylene Blue

I saw that a while back and ran out and bought some. I read that you should dilute it 10 parts water to one part Methylene Blue and add a bit of powdered Vitamin C. Then take 1-3 drops a couple of times a day. I tried it for a couple of months and didn't notice anything. No bad effects either and one of the cheaper experiments I've done. If anyone has better info on it, I'd be up for trying it again.
