In searching for a different subject I came across this study from 2008.

POTENTIAL ALZHEIMER'S, PARKINSON'S CURE FOUND IN CENTURY OLD DRUG

So I searched this forum site for further information. Lo and behold, many of you had heard or referenced the study.
Does anyone know if there has been further work/research/trials done on this substance?
Has it just fallen into a black hole?
