Peace my heart...

Peace, my heart, let the time for the parting be sweet.
Let it not be a death but completeness.
Let love melt into memory and pain into songs.
Let the flight through the sky end in the folding of the wings over the nest.
Let the last touch of your hands be gentle like the flower of the night.
Stand still, O Beautiful End, for a moment, and say your last words in silence.
I bow to you and hold up my lamp to light you on your way.

~Rabindranath Tagore

we love you paula...

Default my way out

Paula,
You made me laugh when there was nothing to laugh about.
You shouldn’t have been able to dance, but you danced anyway.
You kept reaching for your goals, when most would have
Said, what for, and given up. You made me feel important.
I will miss your attitude, your smile, your spirit, your faith
Your friendship, your tenacity, and the bond we share that
Went heart-deep. I love you Paula and I will always will.

Heart To Paula

I just got thru reading all the posts and it brings tears to my eyes. I haven't been here long at all and I don't know any of you. But,I just want to say, that Paula is one lucky woman to have met so many good people online, which is not easy to do.
And,of course,ya'll are so lucky to have met a woman such as Paula. She has such courage and strength to have suffered so much. And now,for God to lay this at her feet is so hard to understand.

Now,I do believe in God and all he can do but sometimes I have a hard time dealing with what comes our way and understanding why things happen to certain people, myself included.

So Paula,I just want you to know that, from all I've read, you're one very special person and will be missed greatly. Even though your family and friends will miss you, they know that you will be in a place where you will have no pain and more love than we can handle. It's the best place to be.

I wish you peace and Go Rest High On That Mountain:

I know your life on earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren't afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain

Go rest high on that mountain
Son your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Look for the Father and the Son

Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
Wish I could see the angels' faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Look for the Father and the Son.

You're Welcome Carey..Those pics are a bit blurry, because of the format I used to save them..I have the originals that I could have scanned, but I was so off last night, that I just wasnt able look through all the pics I have saved over the years

The WPC sure was a lot of fun..It was so surreal to meet everyone because some of you were just as I pictured you..I have so many very fond memories of that event

Paula, yourself, Greg and AJ, Jeanb, Jaye, Rosebud, and Carol McLeod, and so many others I met there have done, so much for our cause, and have traveled all over the country and some of them did it with advanced pd, and Paula was one of those people..I owe a debt of gratitude to all of you, for what you have done to bring hope to our existance..It is a huge loss for our community to lose Paula, but she will be at peace, pain free, free from the bondage of pd, and in a better place on the other side
