If it is possible, i would like to relate to

1- a person who has had parkinsons about 20 years or more
2-one who has had dbs surgery at least once
3-one who has speech problems cauused by surgery

please remember that i cannot write and have to plug along with my fingers

1.well, I have had symptoms for 21 years, diagnosed for 17

2. 2 DBS's

3. definitely have DBS related speech problems

4. can't write either

5.I can still type though

1- diagnosed 22 years
2- 2 DBS's (each side) in 2005
3- have had some speech problems but not sure if DBS related. I took the LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Training) program and it helped a lot.
