Default Anyone going to Santa Fe PD conference?

I'll be there along with a few others from the bay area - hope to meet some folks from this forum - which I've just "rediscovered" and posting for the first time! -Brian

Well I am trying to persuade my neurologist to write a prescription for a move to Northern California, but he does not understand how therapeutic it can be to have one small dream come true.

In other words, wishing is as close as I will get the Santa Fe PD conference.

If you go, hope it is rewarding!

I had registered for it but then a few big bills came in so I had to cancel. It would be great if you could report back on the experience?

Are you speaking of Robert Rodgers 's convention by Parkinsons Recovery? I spoke at the one he had in Cinci (on natural therapies for PD) in June and it was wonderful. People from all over came and the speakers were good. Sante Fe is too far away for me to go (though, was asked to be a presenter again) Hoping they will have another one nearby on the east coast... .. said that he was working on it.,.,By all means...go if you can.

Hello Aunt Bean, I remember you from Cincinatti - I was the guy in a wheel chair and orthopedic boot (since removed, phew!) Yes the Santa Fe event is a Robert Rodgers event - about 18 presenters and lots of PwPs to network with. We'll miss you this year! Robert has a new version of his "Road to Recovery" book - basically an update and transcribing of all his free radio shows - he's a national treasure for PD imho!
