The short answer is im looking for a group of people that aren't in lockstep with the establishment surrounding overmedicated PWP. Not having any luck so far but youll be ok don't get stressed its not worth it.

I forgot to mention I have to take 225 mgs of Welbutrin, and 300 mgs of Neurontin and 10 mgs Diazapam, to deal with end dose dyskinesia, sweats, and muscle cramps every evening, all non pd symptoms, or should I say side effects?

If I go completely off the meds (I'm taking Sinemet 6 times a day), then I barely function due to a feeling of complete exhaustion and weakness. The weakness is very much like having a severe case of the flu or having jogged 5 miles.

I don't like taking pills but the alternative is MUCH worse.

Hello Steve! I hope your wellness level is high. I understand what you say completely, same thing happened to me and last 4 months of quitting, I was shaving my Sinemet pills with a razor blade and at the end just taking a tiny flake and putting it in my mouth. Addiction is a horrible thing to shake and I don't blame anyone for not trying to kick. I don't believe its a good idea to quit if you've been on for a long time. I was on acquaintance terms with NMS for weeks and trouble breathing etc. I had to replace sine with a whole slew of exercise type activities and of course a series of supplements (herbal) that assist me in the day. At least my incontinence-bed wetting- has gone away and the other things previously mentioned but it is a trade off. Amazing how we start th pill route and all of a suden lose our choices and cant quit. Hnag in there buddy. Remember the sinemet has to be replaced with a regimen of excercises that release John Denvers "Rocky Mountain High" into your system. VIGOROUS and relentless exercise is the key for me. It definitely spurs the dopamine release again. I feel great nnow (relatively) and am not 1/2 as fatiqued as I usd to be. Most side effects did not go away they just got cut in half in severity with a couple three previously mention exceptions that went away entirely. I am now able to teach again which is important to me. I have a team of Mvmnt Neuros at University Hospital Colorado and one in western colo. All ofthem want me oon different meds.....go figure. It should be noted that going without meds entirely is not a FIX....its a choice. I don't believe I can reverse this I just refuse to be a guinea pig for the docs at my expense with pill throwing games.

sorry about the misspell im educated (hahahha) but cannot type very well and too time consuming to fix all the time.

May your wellness run high (I don't use the word sickness...)

peace
BP with PD since 33 and un-medicated thankfully to die naturally.
