Default TACS - trans alternating current stimulation

"In TACS in contrast, the electrode pads are placed on the outside of the patient's head, so it does not carry the risks associated with deep brain stimulation. ".

Was anyone on this board in this trail?

My tremor has become debilitating and will be something I will be discussing with my MDS in August.

I'm curious how well it worked for anyone who has had it.

Thanks, Carolyn

p.s. so grateful for auto-spellcheck and auto-word replacement.

Bumping this up.

The Oxford team report a 50% reduction in resting tremors.

The approach, using electronics outside the brain to cancel out the electrical signals causing the tremor, is non-invasive.

I'm looking at a similar approach placed on my forearm in the hope that it will reduce my hand tremors.
