Default Mucuna P. makes me fatigued and sleepy..

Taking Mucuna P. (Zandopa) 7.5 gms x 5 and half a Sinemet 25/100. Makes me fatigued and sleepy. My Neuro says he doesn't know anything about Mucuna P. so he is no help.

Zandopa has the opposite effect on me..The first time I tried it, I assumed that a dose, was a spoon full of the red spoon that is in the container..I did not take any Sinemet with the Zandopa..When it kicked in, I was damn near symptomless for 6 hours, and running around doing things like I was on speed..That stuff is parkie crack

I take a half teaspoon of Zandopa with my Stalevo, when I need to get things done, and my Stalevo never wears off when I push the envolope, and I never get any dyskinesia whatsoever untill my meds wear off for the evening

Stalevo doesn't make me drowsy, nor does the Zandopa, but I can sleep at any time during the day without a problem

I have never told my neuro that I take Zandopa occasionally, because I assume he is not going to think it is a good idea
