I tire easily, so I feel limited in how long I can do these exercises. Do you feel tired, and if so, how long do you work out. Do you just keep pushing yourself? |

Just keep pushing.
Exercise has been a life saver to me. Recently bought a heavy bag to punch, brilliant exercise and hand eye coordination. Neil. |

whoops, meant to direct to12stargate!
check out the pedaling for pd thread on this board. imho the best thing one can do is get into a pd exercise group, for the exercise and the social benefit. it's just too easy as pd advances to become a recluse. my other belief is don't be afraid of pd meds if they enable you to exercise vigorously. better to stay strong and healthy and hopefully the exercise benefits will outweigh the negatives of pd meds. but that of course is an individual choice and easier said than done. i stay informed by searching the news section of google everyday on "parkinson's" as far as exercise programs, here's what is available in my neck of the woods http://www.waparkinsons.org/classes_events/cycling http://www.waparkinsons.org/classes_events/exercise http://www.waparkinsons.org/classes_events/dance hopefully you can find something in your area. This is me!!! After a minute of exertion I need to roll over and take a nap. I just can't push past it. I know that's terrible to say. I occassionally try to walk but when the dystonia hits...
