Thumbs up sinemet and blood glucose

I just read this; thanks for the insights, I wondered about this issue myself.

Funny the medical 'experts' have never bothered to study this isnt it, I mean, ways to make sinemet work better or with less risk to our overall health (she says with sarcasm)....oddly, a while back I started experimenting with taking a Dex 4 glucose tablet or two when wear-off got bad (I have a lot of problems with it), and I kinda thought it helped a bit; then lately I have been experimenting with taking the sinemet with water to which I add a bit of electrolyte solution, which contains some sodium, potassium and a bit of glucose. It occurred to me that I was taking the sinemet with a lot of water many times a day, so I might be washing out some electrolytes. I'm not sure if this helps me or not as I dont do it consistently. I'm going to start monitoring my blood glucose levels to see how they fluctuate over the course of a day.

Again, thanks and god bless.

There has been a lot of work on this. With glucometers flashing "into the valley of death rode the half-dozen or so.") There is a subtle but powerful pattern that causes the bottom to dropout about two hours after eating.

Sarah and Rev,
Is the electrolyte solution you are referring to "rehydration salts" solution as given to infants with severe diarrhea and/or vomiting? This is a life-saving treatment for a common viral disease in small children in third-world countries.
