I had a F-Dopa Pet Scan done at Long Island Jewish Hospital -Northshore.
Read by David Eidelberg. The findings were "NORMAL." I have since read that due to brain compensation, early in the diagnosis (mine was) a Normal reading can be deemed false. Does anyone have any knowledge on this? It was a very expensive test not covered by insurance and now I don't believe I can rely on the results. Any help would be appreciated. |
