Default Internal Tremor

I have an internal tremor, at rest, one side only during stress, cold, physical exertion.

Does anyone have any idea how long an internal tremor takes to become visable? Five years and counting here.........

It has to be a PD tremor, being that it is one sided and at rest only, doesn't it??

Of course, no answers from MDS, because he can't see it........

Any opinions, words, guesses would be appreciated........a little desperate......

You probably already know that stress makes everything worse....as in, could hasten progression. Try to relax and enjoy the health you have: others are much worse off and would give anything to "only" have an invisible internal tremor

Internal tremors, like regular tremors, can have multiple causes. I read somewhere that tremors can have over 300 causes! I would start with the obvious(to me):

try to eliminate stress (including worries over whether you have something!)
vitamin deficiency (are you getting B vitamins in the right proportions?)
minerals (are you taking a balanced and bioavailable mineral?)
particularly magnesium...hard to get enough so take Epsom salt baths, they may also help relax you, a bonus!
Vitamin D: actually a hormone....do you get 15-20 minutes of sun on your skin every day? you also need enough cholesterol in your body for it to make vitamin D from sunlight, so don't be afraid of eggs
exercise: good for you and helps de-stress

Hope this helps

Default "internal tremors"

Are something that we have collectively described over the years, if you have them it is unmistakable to you, but often ignored by neuros because, they cannot feel or imagine how bothersome it is to have them. Usually it is a symptom of the "rigid" type of PD, not the "Shaky" type

Anyone heard of it appearing 5 years before any other symptoms? MDS examined me just last month, no other PD symptoms.

Thanks Again.

since we lose motor neurons at different rates, and it is said that it is not until we have lost around 80% of our dopaminergic neurons before symptoms manifest themselves, it could be possible to experience "very slow advancement of parkinsonism". As you've probably heard, each one of us has an almost "personally tailored" "case" of PD. It is difficult to say if you could have had symptoms of parkinsonism tremors for five years before you went to a MDS, but PD is still a fickle and mysterious disease since it affects all of us differently, it is possible. Didn't you ask any questions of your GP as to who could maybe shed some light on your early onset tremors? ost of us notice something is wrong about siix months to a year before we are sent to a neurologist. Things like a finger that moves uncontrollably , or walking funny, stuff like that. And then it can be a long time before a neuro is comfortable with a PD DX.
