Default Nuclear Stress Test and PD

I'm dealing with some cardiovascular issues and the doctor has suggested a test to see how my arteries are functioning. It's also called a Perfusion Scan. It involves being injected with a radioactive tracer, so I'm a tad concerned about the effect it may have on pd. Anyone else had this done? And the side effects? If I end up glowing in the dark, will my wife be able to read in bed with the lights off . . . . ;-)

I've done three of them over the years, two pre-PD, one after. I never had problems with any of them. No side-effects at all. They typically use thallium as the tracer, which is used for other imaging also. Just don't go to an airport the next day, you may set off the nuclear bomb detectors.........

Good luck
