Default Requip

I've little tremor. Never bothered me. Dystonia: first shoulders, arms, butt, legs. Rigidity always my biggest problem.

Requip good for restless legs, dystonia, but mostly as a "dopamine agonist" (Potentiates what's already there) that is not affected by food consumption, has a long-stable half life, and for me few side effects after the first 12-18 months. NOTE: I HAD EXTREME PROBLEMS WHEN STARTING! In my case I think it was worth it because without Requip I need as much as 250 mg
L dopa every 2-3 hours and that much is "lunacy" to manage.

Right now I'm doing quite well less I have difficulty eating proteins for heavy fats. That much L dopa means I'm managing the side effects or "drug addiction" that comes with L dopa and not the effects of PD.

Like most everyone else on this forum would recommend: Go as light as possible on any drug, especially L dopa.
