Into the Light: How Stress Causes Schizophrenia, Parkinson
Published on: May 31st, 2007 12:04am by: Ruthw (OPENPRESS) May 31, 2007 -- Ruth Whalen, a medical technologist and writer, recovered from a near 30-year course of brain poisoning, which was due to medical misdiagnoses, stress and caffeine. Last year, Ruth experienced symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Not willing to forfeit another day to medical neglect, Miss Whalen refused to visit a doctor. Instead, she opened her chemistry books, found what she was looking for, recovered, and wrote Into the Light: A Guide to How Stress Causes Auto-Toxicity, Organic Poisoning, Autoimmune Response, Parkinson's Disease, Schizophrenia and More (ISBN: 978-1-4303-2991-6). All profit goes toward establishing a safe house to help protect victims of oppression and domestic violence. ...she is echoing some of the same things that Anne Frobert and I have been chasing for the last year. I was impressed enough to order a copy.

I believe this has potential to be the truth. My husband was under a lot of stress and the result was a heart attack followed by schizpohrenia-Paranoia two years later. He became paranoid before he ever received a Parkinson's medication. We knew he had Parkinson's, but because he was so paranoid, it wasn't treated.
I will order this book. Thanks for this information. Maureen |
