Peg -
You sounded so gracious and informative in your interview. I was fascinated at how innocuously your PD started, a slight movement of your ring finger. Hardly an ominous sign, but what follows in stages can be so devastating. Your description of rigidity as not being mere stiffness is right on. I get annoyed when other people tell me, "Well, I get stiff too. It comes with aging." They say getting older is not for sissies. Well, getting older while battling Parkinson's is only for heros. Thanks again for serving as an example of the many bright and valiant people who deal with PD. Ann |
