This is the only one that I know by heart. It is called High Country Weather and was written by James K Baxter (a great NZ poet);

Alone we are born.
And die alone.
Yet see the red-gold cirrus.
Over snow mountain shine.

Along the upland road.
Ride easy, stranger.
Surrender to the sky.
Your heart of anger.

It is almost a Japanese haiku and shows that there is much beauty in the world, as long as we can learn to be still and notice it.
