Default Changing Mood

I noticed this mood thing the other day, but because I was in "no mood" to investigate at that moment, I ignored it. After reviewing the choices, I have to go with the same as Steff's, I am definitely Doh. I spent part of yesterday morning looking all over the house for my glasses while I was wearing them! Oh, my list of Doh's goes on and on. If I start to remember all the Doh things I've done, I stop myself because I can't go there, the memories are just too humiliating and painful. When my kids were small, we were in a hurry to get to McDonald's for breakfast. Of course, we only had a few minutes before breakfast would be over and as I drove out of the driveway, I took out my mailbox and ended up with the car sitting on top of a big rock that my husband had placed at the end of the driveway. All the neighbors came out to see and I was begging anybody to help me get the car off the rock before my husband got home from work (so he wouldn't find out).HA HA, yeah, right, no one would ever tell him. My nephew was a manager at an auto repair shop in town and when I called to ask for help, the owner decided he had to see this for himself. He came with the tow truck and brought a camera. My son, Brian, innocently said to me at the time, "Don't worry, mom, we wont' tell Dad". My poor husband, no wonder he seems a bit burnt out. Thirty-five years of this and I wonder what's the matter with him?

Default In conjunction with mood change...

There is a drop down box in the lower left corner of your screen that allows you to change the look of the bulletin board as it appears on your screen. This does not affect how others view what you write, but it does change the screen colors and layout as they appear to you. I just thought some might have missed that function.

Michael, I don't see the Mood changer in the upper right corner of my screen, but I did change my board view a long time ago. Do you think the change is why i CAN'T see the Mood changer??

Default Are you looking under where it says Welcome ?

I missed it at first also. If it is not there, try changing your screen skin and see if it magically appears. I am using Country comfort right now and it appears on that one as well as the default screen...haven't tried any of the others...GOOD LUCK.

Default Re: Mood Change

I have done everything that has been suggested...have seen "My Mood": Change Mood...have attempted to access both of these without success...so, until/unless I'm able to discover how to access these, I would just like it known that if available, I would choose: Sourpuss...Crankypuss...LalaLand...(appropriate especially during the summer months!) I would "adjust" any of these to exacly my "mood of the day" (none of these being especially appealing, I suppose...but, nonetheless, as it is!!!)

Default Therese and Carolyn

What version(s) of Internet explorer are you using? Make sure you are using IE-5 or above. Just under the first box on this page there is a row of tabs. The first one says "User CP" . That will take you to the user control panel. Go there and click on options. Go through that page and select all of the choices that give you the greatest amount of options. Choose save changes, and then try to change your mood. Both of you should be "Testy and Frustrated" by now. lol

Default Thank you, Michael

Yes...TESTY...FRUSTRATED...either of these would be in "sync" with my mood right now...but, please don't waste any more of your time trying to help me with this. Perhaps it is due to the fact that I am using WebTV (MSN TV) as provider, although I have seen everything that has been suggested to access...but, when I press the key that allows me access, nothing happens...so, for now, let it be known that I still would choose SOURPUSS...CRANKYPUSS...LALALAND...and now, with your suggestion, Michael, I would add...TESTY AND FRUSTRATED!!! Maybe...just maybe...I should consider using our computer which, I know, is more "sophisticated" than my webtv. Until now, the webtv has always been sufficient for my needs..but, it just may be time for me to "move on and move up"to a more "sophisticated"type internet access...thanks, again, Michael for trying to help....GRRRRRR might be another "mood choice" for me to consider!!!!!!!!!

Michael, I don't use IE...I use Firefox.

I did discover that Epic does not have Mood availability. So I changed to one of the other choices. All the others have Mood.
