Default Critique of Parkinson's research organization

Ben Stecher et al. [1] critique the way research into Parkinson's is organized.

"the pace of novel advances seems to be slowed down by a system that can not move fast enough to keep up with our own neurodegeneration."

"This clinical trial model ... seems ill-equipped to tackle PD where etiological heterogeneity is the rule rather than the exception."
