Heart Results of Endocrinologist Tests

Hi all,

Have been feeling exhausted all the time, so went to the endocrinologist and after biopsy of a marble size hard nodule in my thyroid, several blood tests, as well as other body fluids I found out my results.

I do not have thyroid cancer, in fact, all my thyroid tests were normal. He said I just have a lumpy goiter which is monitored but requires treatment.

My blood tests showed my vitamin D level was 20 (should be 100) which was causing my chronic fatigue. He prescribed vitamin D 50000IU, once a week.

To help me lose the weight, I was prescribed Phentermine 1 15 mg per day. Also, MetforminER 500MG tabs, start out with one at night and work up to as much as I can tolerate. Also will be scheduling a bone denisity scan and Weight Loss Classes or Healthy Meal Preparation.

I feel more energetic all ready even though I have a cold. I thought the endocrinologist was very helpful.
