<<I think this may be common and i wish the pros would consider PD as originating in the BODY and eventually causing the l-dopa shortage --- ie worn out from over time!>>

Very interesting conjecture about the origins of pd starting in the body and then migrating to the brain. I've been getting considerable benefits from Rolfing which attempts to loosen up stuck areas in the body and thus change patterns in the brain. It may just be a reverse progression from the symptoms back to the source, but each time I finish a session I feel like I am once again inhabiting my body rather than leasing it out to that old ogre of pd.

In the last year it has become worse, It starts as my meds wear off, after about 3 hrs. then about 45 min. after I take Sinemet it gets worse and then after another 20 to 30 mins. it is gone. A couple of hrs later it starts again. At times I find it hard to sit still. Some days are better than others. It has been so bad at times I wonder how long before I will not be able to tolerate it anymore. When it comes to Sinemt I can't live with it and I can't live without it! I was dxs 5 years ago, I also take Requip.
You have dystonia. It's relieved by the Sinemet giving you an on during which time the pain of dystonia goes.
Dyskinesias are usually not painful, though they can be distressing.

Default Evon,

by whatever name the foot writhing thing is called, your symptoms sound identical to mine. i am certain it is a side-effect of the sinemet/l-dopa and might indicate improper dosing for the bodies' immediate need for it. too much, too little, coming on or wearing off - the symptoms are similar. i think of it as neural/brain burnout from using L-dopa. very touchy situation!
