Default Too funny:

Steve:
As soon as I started to read Harley's post I started to laugh...I could hear your voice. Sounds like somebody's got your number Bud!

Burkle: does this mean you are the model couple for the retirement community you live in? I just can't picture you fitting into that picture. Please send me a copy. Would love to see you in your modeling debut...perhaps next month you'll make the cover of the Rolling Stone ...much more in keeping with your true self.

Evonne: go get em girl!

Robert: Good to hear from you. I marvel at the connections we make at these often remote and far between events like PD conferences.

love to all ....J

Steve,

Have a safe trip out to the great Pacific Northwest. When I went storm chasing this past summer, it was the first time I had ridden in an airplane in 21 years and almost to the day! I was so nervous the first time, I could barely sleep that night. As it was, I had to get up at 3:00 am to get a 7:00 am flight from Boston. I must've gotten about 1-1/2 to 2 hours sleep that night.

Evonne,

Congratulations! I am so happy to hear that you did well in your interview. I haven't been so lucky. The IT field is completely dead right now even with all of the job offerings out there. Anyone I've contacted, has not responded back like their holding on to see what's happening out in the world first. I only pray that I can hold on to my current job until things get better. My manager has already discussed cuts that may have to be made. Gulp!

Anyway, I'm going into this week feeling pretty good actually. I started my Lodosyn this past Friday, and it has made the world of difference on how I feel. That truely aweful nausea-feeling is gone at least for awhile anyway. Last Monday, I think I mentioned my neuro appointment over at the Lahey. She noted that I'm slowing down more, and I've sadly noticed that myself. What used to take 20 minutes, not takes my 30 or 40. This is quite frustrating, if not down right discouraging, because I still work full time, and try to lead a "normal" life which of course means I push myself to and beyond my limits.

Well anyway, I wish you all a great week with many more to come.

John

I am posting for my Mother Thelma. She says hi to all and especially to Harley and Steve. This kind of news tells her that there is still a lot to hold on to in this life and she has the wish that you two find all that there is in it.

I come on here once in awhile and print off for her to read. She is in the hospital for another bout and will be out again soon. Sends her best wishes to all.
