Default Dna

Husband ordered his kit this morning with coupon # provided. He just registered over the weekend, so the response time was VERY fast. madelyn

Unhappy Heartbroken

I've been traveling, so running late on this.

I got my code a couple of days ago. Tried to fill in the form to order my kit. Entered my code. Grateful that the price changed to $25.00 plus the willingness to participte in on-line surveys. Okay, great. Then I reallized I hadn't entered my state, but when I did, up popped a note on the screen, in red, saying that they could not offer their services in Maryland. I sent an inquiry email about 24 hours ago, but no reply yet.

Anyone know what the deal is on this?

Sniff.

Default more time to spit

I believe that all PWPs who had signed up on the waitlist via our site have now been cleared and received a discount coupon. In general, the codes expirations dates all now will be honored until April 1st ... so if folks are just learning about the opportunity or had been cogitating or otherwise delayed, there is still time to act and receive the price benefit.

The best way to get a code (besides a from a buddy) it to go to the MJFF site www.michaeljfox.org and sign up. We continue to act as consolidators.

Default far & wide

I just sent the info to every pwp and support group leader in my address book. For so long we, as pwp, been clammoring for change - well this is certainly a big change in the running of clinical trials.

At the PAN forum I asked the 23andme rep what safeguards will protect my genetic data. Their set up sounds like it will be secure. And although I admit to still feeling a bit nervous, I am participating.

Good luck to 23andme and the Fox Foundation and all pwp.

Default timing on codes

Ken,

Since we are a conduit, it is a bit tough to predict specific timing for every one who signs up...but, I believe that an email when out from 23andMe two days ago to nearly 1000 PWP who had signed up via our site (Carey...didn't you get it?) and I believe additional traunches will continue to go out. If you don't see anything in a few more days, please email me directly and I can try to hunt it down.

Thank you, Debi Brooks for all that you do. Plus, it does my heart good to know that you are listening to us. I greatly appreciate your being there, and here!
