Lightbulb B-12 in the form of Methycobalamine for PD

Vitamin B 12 - Methycobalamine for PD

From Phyllis Balch, CNC
Prescription for Nutritional Healing

Page 20-21
This is part of her commentary - I have used this book for years
And this is the newest revised edition # 4

I have used Methycobalamine for the last 6 months, instead of just taking B- complex and my medicine (Sinemet) is lasting much longer!

Methycobalamine is active in the growth and protection of the nervous system.
Larger quantities are especially necessary to protect against neurological deterioration as we age.
Vitamin B-12 in the Methycobalamine form, may help prevent Parkinson’s disease…
And slow the progression in those who already have the disease by protecting against
Neural toxicity caused by excess L-dopa, a probable cause of the disease.

However a 1994 study in the “Journal of Neurological Science” suggested that B-12 in the Methycobalamine form, could increase the synthesis of certain proteins that help regenerate nerves, the study showed very high doses of Methycobalamine produced
Nerve regeneration in rats.

I am a crummy typist -so I suggest you may be able to check your local library for a copy of this book, the newest edition is bright Orange, you may even ask your librarian to invest in buying this book for your city library.

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.
