I also had a major issue with hypoglycemia many years prior to my PD diagnosis. Loss of smell was my first non-motor symptom, however, then came a cascade of other non-motor symptoms. Who knew at the time it was PD? I was treated for insomnia, for anxiety, for urinary incontinence, etc., etc. It all made sense when I was officially diagnosed with motor symptoms about 4 years ago.
