Breaking news about our thread, "Do we have an obligation to participate in biomedical research?"
The authors of the JAMA article that inspired that thread were invited to read and respond, and, much to my surprise, one has! And what a great response it is. G. Owen Schaefer is a bioethicist, philosopher and author employed by the Clinical Center Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. He kindly took the time to review and comment on our thread. To read his complete, free and instantly accessible words, see post #33 of the thread. No subscription needed. No download fees. No getting caught sneaking into the medical library without a valid ID! If you have yet to contribute your thoughts, or if you have more to say, join the discussion on the thread entitled, "Do we have an obligation to participate in biomedical research?"
