Hi everyone-
I am new here but am glad I found this site. I am posting in the PN section but I am not even sure this is definitely the right place so if anyone could suggest another section to post this msg in please let me know! I have had the strangest symptom for about a year. My legs (particulary my knees) have very sensitive skin. When I wear pants and I walk around and they rub on my legs I get weird/uncomfortable/painful sensations. Anywhere from mild discomfort all the way up to the feeling like a band-aid is being constantly ripped off my skin. When I wear shorts that are above the knees, I no longer have the symptoms. Any thoughts? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much -David |

If you could be more complete in your posts, with information included with
your question. This is the 3rd post I have seen from you (from both OBT and here) and in each one a slightly different question is posed, with different content. Many of us here post in both places, you know.

It's really worth a look at for sure.
Check out my post on dermatology...it really covers all types of skin problems and has some photos to help identify what some extremes look like. While it may bug the heck out of you, it may NOT be as bad as you're assuming! I for one, sure hope it's nothing horrid! Keep us up to date as you venture thru the medical mazes! - Take care - j |

would follow up on Mrs D's suggestion: tell us more about yourself. I've checked your other posts, and still there's not enough info to be very helpful to you.

Yes their both right David, if you have anymore information that you can post in,
it will be better, for sure. My suggestion was only a thought, as it just sounded so much like my uncle's complaint, but it could be a lot of things and the more information you can give will help the experts like Mrs D, to evaluate your symptoms. good luck Brian ![]() |
