hi guys
At my orthotics appointment today it was suggested today that I move on from my AFO's (plastic brace that comes up to my knees) to metal calipers that are embedded into shoes (ie can't be changed between shoes like the AFO can). Does anyone have any experience with these? I'd love any feed back about them. I know that this transition is in my future, I just hadn't expected it this soon. thanks guys Raglet |

Sorry Raglet I don't know about the brace and the metal calipers you use for your shoes. Hope someone is able to help you.

I am thinking that i will probably try them. I am now just agonising over what shoes I should have them put into, but I have plenty of time to work it out as I have my AFO's that I can use meanwhile.
It's hard in that it will limit me to one part of shoes, which I why I need to make sure I pick the right ones. cheers raglet |
