Default Hi, I need some advice?

My wife was diagnosed with PN back in January 2009 it has been extremely painful for her and very hard for her to deal with. She gets very emotional and short with me almost daily. I was looking to find a support group or something like that in the San Diego area. Or any other advice on how to help her and I deal with PN? I am willing to go to a support group for spouses as well.

Thank You
David

Hi David, there are a lot of knowledgable & very caring PN sufferers right here that have to do deal with nerve damage on a daily basis, perhaps if you or your wife could give a bit more detail about her PN, eg, has a cause been found or is it idiopathic PN diagnosis ? what tests has she had done so far ? is she seeing a neuro that is a neuropathy expert ? just info like that so the members have more of an idea, which may lead to some helpfull suggestions.
Some people including myself have found some relief with certain supplements, there is a lot of info in the " Important links/ Stickies " up top of the front page of the forum.
good luck
Brian
