Default ankle pain
Hi all
I have suffered from pn for quite some time now, and laterly I have been haveing ankle pains, as if I have sprained my ankles, it has gotten worse laterly I was wanting to know is this part of having pn also l have been having a lot of cramps in my feet at night is this also part of pn.

The cramps are very much part of the PN,and alot of people get them. I had really bad cramps for quite a while. I also had spasms & dystonia in my foot. It eventually abated,and I have found the cramping to be transient. People have advised me to take Magnesium,and so I use Magnesium Forte and it has helped alot.

As far as the sprained ankle feeling, is it like a deep bone type pain or is it more muscular?

I have also recently been dealing with ankle pain and mine is the same tight (very, very, very) sock pain. It is so tight I am unable to do ankle rotations. It's like I am getting tighter everywhere so my pain doc is sending me back to physical therapy. (I had to leave pool therapy because it was too painful to walk on the rough bottom
surface of the pool.)

Anyway, I hope I can handle PT this time. We do have one therapist here in my small but wonderful town that understands neuropathy and fibro.

Default pool shoes
Nancy,
get yourself a pair of pool shoes. I buy mine at the local Walmart and they are cheap. If you can't find them at Walmart this time of the year, order them on line.
