Default Magnets

I followed Brian's advice and ordered magnets. Five arrived. (They are very inexpensive). They are a ****** to separate. I was able to eventually peel one away and put it on my butt. The pain immediately faded. I am a good placebo responder, so maybe it's that, and things do wax and wane, but it could be a very simple way to get some specific relief.

But Brian--How do I separate these? If I use more than one, is it helpful to arrange them so current runs between, like an EMS machine? Do you put one at the top of the spine, for instance, and one at the bottom?

And how do you keep them from demagnetizing all your charge cards and metro passes?

Lightbulb put a thin cardboard

between them, or a tough fabric. It is best just to keep them in separate
bottles/boxes.

There is a pole, that works best on the body. I believe, it is North up and S down...if you don't get results, reverse the mag.

If one mag works, that is all you need. You probably only have one nerve
causing the problem. Why would you need one at the top of the spine?
Think back to how nerves work....influx of + and - ions move thru the membrane. All the magnet does is prevent that + movement.

Placement is very individual...when you find a spot that works, use it.

To remove them, if they get stuck together..try sliding them..they will slide before they will pull apart.

They will affect credit cards, magnetic tape, and computers. They will set
off Airport security too.

You may find after some time, you won't need them as much. The nerve firing seems to stop (at least for me). So just wear them to bed, for starters.

I cannot wait until you tell us how you set off the bells and whisteles at the airports during your vacation.

Imagine, a magnetic LIZA JANE!!!!

How romantic is that???

mel

lol

P.S. Many moons ago, I was traveling to Florida when a man passed through one of the metal detectors and all the bells went off. Everybody came rushing over to see what the commotion was (as of course did I).
Well, they took all his stuff out of his pockets, keys, bottle openeners, etc, (whatever men carried on their person over 30 years ago). Well, he was clean, and they put him through again, and the same thing happened. Trouble was the man didn't speak a word of english and thought he was radioactive or something because he began to go crazy. They tried to calm him down and explain that they just wanted to find out why the bells were going off. All he knew that was happening was that he was being detained and they wouldn't let him on the plane.

So they take him to a private room and made him get undress (I can't imagine the look on his face as they explained THAT to him). Then they ran the metal thing up and down his body and the bells were still going off. They came out and were looking perplexed at each other because they had no idea why this man was settihg off metal detectors.

THEY FINALLY GOT A TRANSLATOR and when the guy heard what was happened he looked at everybody like they were stark raving mad and simply explained in his native language that during the war he had been injured and there was shrapnel still embedded in his leg.

Of course everybody backed off and allowed him his dignity. I will hever forget that as long as I live.

If the magnets work for you guys, I'm telling Alan. I just have to get my direct tv to get working again. Maybe I'll try putting magnets on it.!!!!

I have replied to your PM.
They should have come with plastic in between them so its easy to seperate them, they should not have sent them to you like that.

You must push and slide[ with your thumb/s, whilst holding the others with your fingers]at the same time to get them apart, you can't just pull them apart.

Some magnet manufacturers say place them south, others say north, i don't think it makes any differance at all, but if it works one way better than the other go for it, but i really don't think it matters at all.
It only matters when you place more than one, creating a strong magnetic field as i explained in my last PM.
Its only when those cards have direct contact with them it may do something to them ,[ say if you rubbed one of your cards with a magnet, well then yes it would] if the cards are in your handbag you shouldn't have any problems.
I have my spare magnets stuck on the side of my PC, the hard drive has a magnet in them anyway, you would have to have a magnet the size of a fist to do anything like your worried about, those ones are very user friendly.
I would not take them off untill about 3 days later, the longer you leave them on the better they work, i only take mine off to bath around the area and put some powder to stop any skin aggravation from the adhesive tape.
Sounds like the one you put one is working good, they have a high gauss reading so you have some good ones.

Hi Brian,

I bought some magnets that were designed to look like a pearl necklace. Why should you not put them near your throat?

Thanks
Shelley

I wore magnetic bracelets for my repetitive strain injury {RSI} and then a necklace for some neck/shoulder pain - they helped for awhile but my RSI became thoracic outlet syndrome after a couple years as I continued working at that time.

the ones I had were fairly weak though.

some of my co workers that had pain tried the bracelets and they also felt relief
they were quite surprised as they had never heard of anything like it.

I googled for images of "pain relief magnets"-
here's the results-
