No Sweetie, you will not end up in a psych ward.

I was on 50mcg every 3 days, but was experiencing tolerance withdrawal.

You need to cut down slowly, perhaps by 12.5mcg. Talk to your doc. You can not cold turkey off fentanyl.

You can go onto oxycodone as you come off...then taper that. It is possible to go off fentanyl. Several of us have done it on here. I did it more than once.

Benzodiazepines are much worse of a problem...(xanax, valium, klonopin etc.)

You will be fine....keep the faith.

Default Thanx

Thanks for that

I do tend to be an 'all or nothing' type person. l need to realize that it took me 4.5 yrs to get to this point so it's gonna be a slow go gettin back DOWN the hill.....

You have a nice way of helping a person get from 'total panic' mode down a few notches......
Much apprecitated....

No problem.

It is all fixable. You are gonna be fine, and you are probably more sane than you think.

Default Cyclelops & socks

Hey there.....
This thread sorta just turned into a 'you and me' thread

Just wanted to thank you for all ur input....don't have time to type much today or tomorrow. Read the stuff on the other threads - will let it
'absorb' into my brain

So Sorry about the 'nose sock' ....wish i had some valuable input to give back but for now all i have to offer is regular stupidity....

If it makes you feel and better....i'm wearing a BUTT-sock.....but don't ask.
Just back from the cold, taking care of horses

Hope I can help.

If your butt sock feels like my nose sock, well, I can relate.
