50 is warm. Up here in the tundra, wear speedos in that weather. It isn't pretty.

Default Speedos up ''north"? Whew!

Does that Cat have a "Snuggie"? Sure looks like it!
Geesh, just look at the UK and Europe! They too are getting blasted.
Even Peking, China is getting doused w/snow!
As for the US? Maybe we could all go to the US Virgin Islands where it's 78 degrees F now? At 9PM EST?
I dunno, a bunch of us thawing out on a beach there 'unturning blue' would be a sight to see?
South of the equator tho? We're not getting much info other than there are floods in some of Australia?
I'd love a hot tub IF it had included with it a fork-lift! Sigh!
Warm thoughts to one and all! Not to mention toasty toes! Ferget the speedos! - j

If my husband ever wore a speedo, I would die. Who invented those anyway? Don't they do a run in Boston in winter with people wearing Speedos? Yikes.

Oh, notice the late time of this post....gotta love cortisone. I got an injection and it must have gone 'global'. Cant sleep a bit, but dont feel too bad, most of the pain is mitigating. Between my infusion and the bursitis shot...not too bad. I am not dancing a jig, but this does feel somewhat better. Give me a week and something else will go haywire.

I am going to crawl into that Snuggie with the lovely cat of MrsD.'s. 6 to 10 inches of snow on the way. It started already. Ugh. Just cold enough for salt not to work on the roads. Blowing to start this afternoon.... foo. It is going to snow for 22 hours. Beware eastern Great Lakes....this should hit you later today and tomorrow. We are in for it all day and nite, here.

That cortisone shot kept me up ALLLLL nite. It also helped even my hideous tibia with the neuropathy my hands and headache. Hmm. I know that steroids are not an option for me, given my propensity for osteoporosis, but I wonder if anything works somewhat as well. Last time they gave me IV steroids, they did not do this well for me, but then again, I was not as sick. On the other hand, I don't like not sleeping or losing bone mass. Hmm.

Yes, weather is coming again.... going out early for my errands.

Need birdseed of all things...they are eating us out of house and home!

If Costco has any Snuggli's left I will have to get another, so I can have my own!
