The stickies are great. We have some great ones on:
Supplements Meds Choosing Shoes & socks Diet I wonder if we couldn't put one together on "self help" - things we can do "over the counter" for ourselves to help deal with the pain. I gleaned a couple of things from posts: Topical creams: Bio Freeze (has antinflammatory properties), Ben Gay, etc. High Gauss (10,000 or more) neodymium magnets - place over nerves to stop them from firing. Ice seems to work for some: What, 15 minutes per session, how many times a day?? Warm foot baths with epsom salts - not hot water - a 20 minute soak? Is this effective for hands/fingers?? Some people get relief with tens?? My particular case is in my feet - if we could put something together kind of universal, it would be great. I see a lot of newbs coming in and getting the info on supplements and meds; maybe this would eliminate some of the redundant questions from some of us. If you'd care to weigh in, please do and I will try to sum it up in a few weeks to give it to a moderator. Thanks a bunch Last edited by Swmnupstrm; 03-02-2010 at 03:30 PM. |
