I get cracked heels too, I was always told that it is a family tradition! My hands also crack, bleed, and hurt. The doc I work for told me to use crazy glue on the cracks--it really works. I have never used it on my heels, yet I have on my hands. My feet prefer nothing on them and that adds to the cracking, I know. The ocean water is great for smoothing your feet, so I would imagine that epsom salt soak would help too. I buy the special diabetic lotion for my feet and it does help. The best lotion I ever had was a peppermint lotion from a store in Michigan called, The World Market, yet I never found it again, even on their website.

Default A Good....

podiatrist will and should have an arsenal of cracked heel lotions and potions in his/her arsenal. Some are scripts, and are often not cheap...but they work! ASK, ideally for the script and samples to see if you like the stuff and do the mail in thing! I speak from experience here.

Carmol and Keralac are the two main ones, most contain either salacylic acid or urea and I have to warn, you, wash your hands after applying and wear socks while it's on, or flip-flops as the stuff WILL dissolve shoe leather and furniture finishes! Yep, strong stuff! But getting open sores on your feet is a very undesirable option! - j

Teeth

Ummmmmmmmm my mama didn't tell me bout no twin!! and, and, I think you are younger than me too--hehe!!!!!Bro, if I could, I would take all your pain away.

Honestly, my kids used to have a fit if I touched them with my feet. They said they would rather have sandpaper rubbed on them and I still love them ! I have to keep buying new knee hi's cause my feet are ruining them! Which is another problem for me, I have to dress up for work and knee hi's and dress shoes just do not cut it. My feet hurt so much at night, and in the morning, they are so stiff.

Another thing that can really help is chapstick, like Carmex, not the stick type. Emu salve works too, if you can stand it. Believe me, I have tried so many things.

Default Melody. . .

. . .that is the funniest story I have ever heard! I always ask my hair stylist to do my hair kind of like a short "shag" and now I will always think of you in the chair with your hair on fire! Thanks :-)
