Default Ahh Turkeys? Neat....

If a real Turkey were found in my quasi urban area? The ambulances would be out! We've got folks who don't understand that not feeding the 'animals' means cover your trash bins so the 'coons don't get into them!
Our croci are past, sigh? The DAFFS are next! Along w/the cherry and apple trees! Then followed in full suit by the tulips and Azaleas! By then tho? That allergy thing, will dampen some spirits [tho not mine!] And I discovered a few robins still around coming home from another 'doc' appt/test!
We are on our way to WARMTH! But w/allergies and all? Honestly I don't care. We've just exceeded the 12hour mark for daylight today by 2 minutes! WHOOOEEE !!! The world goes round and round.. and we are now on the 'better round' I guess.
Yeah, watching turkeys is fascinating, they are soo smart and stupid at the same time? And have evolved for milennium into what they are and do so nicely w/o our interferences.
I'm so glad your soap worked out! It's be a bummer if it'd not!
Warm toes and fingers to all! Good things to the rest of the parts! - j

Oh, so sorry, no emus....just turkeys today. But the sandhills are whooping up a storm over the hill.

We have a peacock farm across the river....ok, so they aren't emus...but they make quite a ruckus!

Default Actually I LIKE turkeys in the wild....

They really are simple and only mildly noisy creatures going out to to 'their thing' as they should. And, one knows that is a truly peaceful place that they go thru... They are simple and almost timid creatures on their own. It is us humans who are the intruders often.
Spring is definitely coming! The POLLEN COUNT is now being officially done in the DC metropolution area! Can I say SNORB? now?
Weird tho, I've not heard GEESE this year! Usually long before now, I hear their 'honks' at late nite.. not yet. Somehow that worries me. They've been soo prolific over the past 5-10 years and now zip?
Tree buds ARE swelling tho, here...so there is hope for the rest of the world, even tho we've all been somewhat blizzarded, and now maybe flooded.
As long as the sun is out and it's over 60? I'm a gonna be out there soaking up as much 'D' as I can!
Warmer good things to all! - j
