Think of the 'pain' in a good light? AT LEAST YOU CAN FEEL IT? It's when you can't and don't that can raise really big red flags..
And, YES! some of those pain waves can and do take your breathe away! WHOOO! IF I'd gotten a dollar for every 'breathtaking event'? I'd be RICH! Sooo, we go on, beat our heads against the walls until the pain stops or get hallucinations from meds. AND THE PAIN, STILL isn't gone? We do what each of us must to be and stay sane during this insane pain. Any peculiar stressor can help ignite these pains? Such as insurance Issues? [Trust me there, I got a heap of them?]or doctor problems you name it. Just tell yourself? Don't need this crud... will deal with varied problems in their own time ON MY SCHEDULE! Doctors tho? Durn, the training involved in them is enormous! Hugs and good things good person! - j |

Hi J!!
Good to hear from you! I haven't had any more toe pain since the other night when it woke me up. I hope it doesn't return, ever! It was awful!! As for the pain, for some reason, unknown to me! Traumeel is helping with my pain in a big way! It's an homeopathic medication for anti inflammation and it's really helping with the nerve pain! I just hope it continues because Lord knows, I've tried everything else out there! I'm very tired of with dealing with doctors, receptionists, pharmacists...you name it! It's the pits! My husband says he never thought Pharmacists would know him by his first name....because we're in there so often!! LOL Take care J! Thinking of you!!! Roxie ![]() Quote:

"It only lasted for about 2 minutes or so and I rubbed it and finally the pain stopped."
This is not gout. Sound like a shooting pain of some sort. Gout doesn't go away after a quick rub, unfortunately ![]() |

It's funny how pain hits us...out of the blue, and sometimes disappearing as stragely as it appeared. Well, not funny, that's just a figure of speech, ya know!
![]() Last June, out of the blue, I got this horrible jaw pain, the trigeminal nerve, on the left side. It was probably the worst pain I have ever had...nothing helped, except heat, and that was questionable. This pain would hit out of the blue, and the minute it hit, it was the most horrendous pain ever...as a rule, it lasted about 10-15 minutes, and I was totally beside myself with this pain. The last time it hit me, it lasted 45 minutes, I was in tears long before it ended. Thankfully, it has not came back, it happened almost nightly for 2 weeks. Hopefully, it will never return. For now, I am dealing with neck/shoulder pain. The fire is immense in my shoulders, even thought maybe a firetruck would help! ![]() My neuro will have a long list in June when I see him!!! ![]()
