Default Progressive polyneuropathy & fissures

Hi All,

I have recently been given a diagnosis of idiopathic progressive polyneuropathy. Currently, my neurologist is testing for underlying causes...diabetes, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. However, along with the severe pain that began in February I have experienced severe heel cracking/fissures. These are big and deep and coupled with my neuropathy are extremely painful. When one heals another appears within days. My PCP, DPM and my neurologist are all baffled by these cracks and do not have a clue as to the cause. Has anyone here had the same or similar symptoms and what can you tell me. I need help!!!
