Cycleops yeah i know wha tu mean, i have 1 dr that actually listens and i dont leave her office worse than when i showed up.

and COncerned Lady:

Yes i do take methyl sublinguals and no acid blockers..
When this came on I was suppper healthy. I was cycling approx 350 km a week, lifting weights etc.. THen i started a landscaping job fixing flower beds, weeding, tree trimming etc.. it was after that job that i started to feel it.

my biggest mistake is listening to the dr that told me to stop working out while they try and "figure it out".

Im doing very light work outs now, stationairy bike and low weights mainly for stretching. feels great! Although my symptoms flare up a bit the next day when im a bit sore, when they calm down I feel really good.

Default Idopathic

That's my DX also - polyneuropathy - idopathic. mine started with numbness in the thighs which is just weird. Then the tingling and pain (both stabbing and burning) and then the hypersensitivity that hurts when I do things like wear pants was added to that. I get stabbing pin pricks in my arms and burning in my lower back and sometimes my feet go numb. Meds aren't working to well, some days are better than others. My neurologist did admit that treating neuropathy is more of an art then a science. She referred me to the Hopkins pain treatment center as I'm only an 1 1/2 hours from Baltimore. Everyone seems to progress differently with this condition. I guess we're all unique and neurology really isn't understood that well yet.
