Default Another little-noted side effect...

... for me has been the elimination of beer from my diet (and I live in the heart of the West Coast's Beervana where you cannot cross a street without running into yet another micro-brewery/pub). I tried limiting my consumption to 2 a day, but apparently any amount of Widmer will bump my pain a notch or 3.

Wine, on the other hand, has no effect (at least at my current levels of consumption -- maybe 6 - 8 ounces a week at most). Thank goodness for that, because my bi-weekly trips to visit/help parents takes me right through the Dundee Hills region.
