I would.......

Iceskate at 60 mph and spin and spin and spin like I used to.
Be a soccer mom on a Saturday morn instead of sending hubby
Shop until I drop.
Wear killer heels.
Go back into a science lab and find a cure for PN.

Visit Malawi again and get some humility,my life ain't so bad after all......

I have a lovely family
I have a lovely warm home
I have lovely friends here...

I would stand in the cold mountain streams near me, casting flys to wary trout, not really caring if I caught any, the scenery is enough

I would go to Steeler games again but the climb to the seats is to much now,

Go shopping through the whole mall
Go back to school
Work
Wear normal clothing
Take longer walks possibly by the ocean
Go to NY again and walk around and see shows

On so many responses I see so many simple pleasures that I hope many of us can do again one day.

train for a triathalon.

I still toy with the idea of doing the STP "Seattle to Portland" one day if I can get a hand cycle.

My church has a group that does it every year, would be nice to join in even if I dont make the whole trip.

Default Hi mere

H ,mere, Your post awhile back, I did review, and it reminded me of this dissability we all have. I think the hardest part is giving up something you worked so hard to get. I was disabled at 53, DJD DDD. I had to give up a thirty year career, and it hurts to this day. I wish all of us could do those things we EARNED. Hope you are doing ok. ginnie

Default beautiful and fun topic

ah..., if theres no Neuropathy in my life...
i certainly would wear high heels and go ou to celebrate dancing samba and salsa, spinning all night on!
just having energy levels up would be great, wake up cheerful every day and just go out and enjoy life!
working, studying, travelling, exercising, expend time with friends, and elephants too isnt all that what plenty of people having in their lives out there and how come they are not happy with!!!!

NO MORE PAIN KILLERS AND SIDE EFFECTS!!!!!
and of course, i would never forget how was my life with Neuropathy... just remember these day and realise that I am happy and fortunate in being healthy and fully recovered.
But even living with PN, CRPS and loads of problems, i am thankful
THANKFUL for everything i have, specially the ability to LOVE and still LAUGH

I would go back to tae kwon do and learn to kick serious butt!

I'd take a lot more trips (driving). And I'd go back to Europe (after they thaw out) and spend more time seeing the sites.

And I think I'd finally get around to hang gliding. Been wanting to do that since I was a kid!

Best of luck to all of us!
